Solaria Ilios is the co-founder and waitress for Caifé Cosmos, as well as a supporting singer for Cosmic Wonders. Of the many Sun Spirits tasked with taking care of the Sun, Solaria is the spirit who's spent the most time on Earth.
History[]
Solaria was born aeons ago during the Sun’s conception. As one of many Sun Spirits, she is responsible for maintaining the Sun itself, preventing it from growing too big and destroying the Solar System as we know it.
During a Solar Storm in the Medieval Ages, specifically 657 AD, Solaria was launched to Earth face first (literally). On arrival, she based her form off of the first friend she made, a Sun Elf princess. While many Sun Spirits serve as figureheads of power in Sun Elf villages, Solaria was content hopping between the Sun and Earth, both taking care of the Sun and living among the general Sun Elf population.
Eventually, Rei approached Solaria with a business proposal. As the spirit who has been on Earth the longest, she needed her help to protect the magical people living on it. Together, they co-founded a safe haven for all non-humans, Caifé Cosmos.
Years later, Solaria would be the one to introduce Cyana to the café.

Solaria has all the standard set of powers for a spirit, which include switching between ethereal and physical form, increased energy, and presumably some creation ability.
She also has the magic of Solarmancy, a skill common among Sun Elves. However, as a Sun Spirit, Solaria's power far exceeds the typical Sun Elf's. Her signature move, "Radiant Saber," is essentially an upgraded version of "Sunlight Spear", an incredibly powerful Sun Elf move. The blade of "Radiant Saber" deals lightning damage while also creating a healing aura around the user.
Personality[]
Solaria is best described as a "Genki Girl," or somebody who possesses an immense amount of energy. She is full of confidence, ambition, and determination, and often acts as a beacon of sunshine (pun intended). She's quite clumsy, but that doesn't stop her from giving it her all in just about any situation.
Trivia[]
- Solaria came to Earth at a time when shoes were quite uncommon, or a pain to wear. As such she has never learned proper poise.
- The zipper of Solaria's hoodie is stuck, yet she wears it anyways as it's her favourite hoodie.
- She has a birthmark on her shoulder blades, which resembles little waves of solar energy.
- Solaria's body temperature is warmer than most humans, but can rise exponentially when overheated.
- According to P.M. Seymour, six characters that served as inspiration for Solaria were Princess Daisy from Super Mario, Jenny Wakeman (XJ-9) from My Life as a Teenage Robot, Colette Brunel from Tales of Symphonia, Solaire of Astora from Dark Souls, Saria from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service.[1]
