Pario and Ainanis Materia are two-thirds of the embodiment of Chaos and the Void itself, Vacuo. Originally trapped in the Void ever since the Second Cosmic Disruption, they have recently been granted their freedom.

Backstory

When the Harran opened a rift to the Void, Vacuo devoured all but one. This lone Harran was a young swordsman named Pin'roh, who stood tall and fought Vacuo with the help of Chronoa, who blessed his sword with Essence to split Vacuo in two. However, while it did work, the energy and incomprehension was too great, and Pin’roh’s mortal form became a catalyst, one of the two resulting thirds of Vacuo. The other is Ainanis, the personification of Chaos and the Void, just like Vacuo. Pin’roh agreed with Rei to be trapped in the Void to ensure Vacuo can’t escape, or at least until Pin’roh can control himself. Thus the two of them were trapped in the void, as the rift was sealed. The only option they had was to try and learn to control their power. Eventually they were able to create a window allowing them to see the Earth and the Moon, wishing to be free once more.

Pin’roh, now Pario, has lost all memories of past life. After sometime and in an enraged state, he attempted to break free. Cyana hears his cry, then comes over and quells him, apologising for her absence. From then on, Pario trains to control the chaos in them. Eventually, Cyana would hear his cries once again upon meeting the gang at the Caifé. She asks Rei to let him free, and seeing that this new home is truly safe, agrees to it. Pario is now free, having chaos under his full grasp. Thus the Voidling takes up residence and the Coffee Supply triples.

Powers

Not much yet is known about their power, however they appear to be able to create objects to some extent. As well, they can summon tendrils (presumably those akin to the void tendrils of Vacuo). But, when working together, they can overpower Vacuo and create a taller and more in-control form.

Personality

Pario can seem quite relaxed and calm, but he has to both keep Vacuo at bay from controlling him, as well as ensuring Ainanis remains in check. Despite living an immortal life, his body is still somewhat mortal. And that is taxing on them, especially as they cannot sleep, else Vacuo takes control and uses their body like a puppet. As a result, Pario became an insane coffee addict, to counteract their body from falling asleep. In addition, he remains somewhat closed off and reserved from others. He keeps them at arms length, for fear they will perish with one wrong move on his end. In addition, they find themselves crying for the Ravvina, although he doesn't know why.

Ainanis meanwhile, is the Venom to Pario's Eddie Brock. Ultimately, they tease and mess with Pario, but ultimately shares a brotherly championship with Pario. However, they have to somewhat remain without too much power on their own, as they become more dangerous as a result. Ainanis is also very protective over Cyana, to the point if she were to die, they would break free and destroy everything. Fortunately, they can be soothed by her voice. Their caring side is also shown with how they feel about Pario's fate, about being stuck in a fate such as theirs. According to them, they want to fix his burden, somehow.

• Their favourite colour is Light Blue.
• They are known as the Key and the Gate respectively, Pario keeping Vacuo within as the Key, and Ainanis the Gate, trying to pry open.
• Pario is able to hide their face in darkness with their hoodie due to Ainanis.
• If Pario and Ainanis separate, Pario would die.
• Pario is the only customer who is served the Dark Matter Special, 400mg in an 8oz glass.
• The eyes on Pario's cheek can move, due to being Vacuo's means of watching the outside world.
• Pario spends their waking hours tending to the voidlings in the endless, dark plane.
• According to P.M. Seymour, six characters that served as inspiration for Pario and Ainanis, as well as Vacuo are Eddie Brock and the Venom Symbiote from Marvel, Rufio from Dark Cloud 2, Max from Sam & Max, Keaton from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Hermaeus Mora from The Elder Scrolls, and Aizen Sosuke from Bleach.
