The Lizahl are one of the Beast Folk, one of the various races created by Gaia.
History[]
Like the other beastfolk, the Lizahl were created by Gaia to protect the Earth in her absence. They evolved from lizards, one of the several species she sacrificed her life in order to give the ability to evolve into what they are today. Their purpose specifically is to protect the desert, and serve as pharmacists/healers. Currently, there is an internal conflict of beliefs among the Lizahl. Some believe they were created by sun spirits, others think they descended from either dragons or dinosaurs, but few actually believe Gaia gave them life.

Lizahl have advanced knowledge of plants and poisons, as well as being able to take their own venom and manipulate it into a remedy. In addition, they are able to use illusions, allowing them to disguise as other beast folks, nature, or even humans.
