Bah'Rhys Ginayuma is the Wood Elf barista of Caifé Cosmos, who also doubles as the Lead Guitarist for Cosmic Wonders.
While many assume he runs the entire café, he is merely the guy who serves the coffee. Rei works behind the scenes at the café to protect magical life, while Bah'Rhys works to keep up the front, making sure humans don't discover its existence.
Backstory[]
Bah'Rhys was born amongst the Wood Elves from the Luzon Rainforests, specifically the Coffee Tribe. They picked up a lot of Filipino from the humans who lived there, having often traded and interacted with them. While he did have a happy childhood, he didn't realize who he wanted to be until his 20s. But eventually he figured out that he wanted to be, well… a he. Realizing they were trans, Bah’Rhys changed their name to what it is today, and set off for a new life.
He would encounter Solaria and Rei, who would hire him as the Barista for Cafié Cosmos, and the one responsible for maintaining the front. His new job gave him a purpose, and the realization that he could help others.

Bah’Rhys as a Wood Elf has the power of Dendromancy. Specifically, his people called on the power of the spirits of the forest. The chain on their pants store some of that magic, which he uses to call upon his bow and fire powerful arrows made from magic. According to PM, Bah’Rhys is the greatest marksman on the planet.
Personality[]
Bah’Rhys is quite calm and relaxed, even while there’s a fire in them. Regardless of his circumstances, he values the freedom to be himself and express who he is above all else. His ability to carve his own destiny in life impressed even Rei, as it showed her first-hand how anyone is capable of defying their fate. If you're a friend in need, you can always count on Bah’Rhys to help, or to find somebody who can help.
Trivia[]
- The first drink he has ever made for the Caifé was a white coffee with a light sprinkle of coloured sugar dust on top. This happens to be Rei's favourite drink.
- His own favourite drink is Zesto, a type of fruit juice from the Philippines.
- His favourite musician is Prince, known for, among many other achievements, his incredible guitar skills, as well as defying both gender norms and racial stereotypes. Bah'Rhys can often be seen wearing a necklace in the shape of Prince's logo.
- His deadname is unknown, and perhaps it is best to keep it that way.
- Bah'Rhys' guitar has a trans pride flag on the lower edge of the guitars body.
- Bah'Rhys' guitar is purple and resembles a Jackson X series King V or a Gibson flying V.
- Bah'Rhys' nickname is Rhysies, a reference to “Reese’s Puffs”
- The name "Bah'Rhys" is itself a pun on "Barista"
- According to P.M. Seymour, six characters that served as inspiration for Bah'Rhys were Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon, Sakamoto from Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto, Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Joshua from Fire Emblem, Kai from Harvest Moon, and Kotetsu T. Kaburagi from TIGER & BUNNY.[1]
