Azuri

Azuri is an unique automaton in the world of Cosmic Wonders, unlike any other robot in the setting. Through her seemingly sentient nature and ability to show emotion, she serves as a very valuable companion to Justice.

History

Over a decade before the events of Cosmic Wonders, Justice used to adore a series depicting the robotic hero Lassuli. Some time later, this love of the character led to the inspiration of Azuri, Both Justice and Suimi had their hand in creating the robot, with the original schematics very much focused on the Lassuli concept. How much has changed since then is unknown, but either way Azuri has since served as Justice's friend and assistant as well as a member of their task force.

Appearance

As a Gynoid, Azuri’s body is made out of some type of metal, coloured black and various shades of blue. The hands have holes in the palms from which lasers are capable of firing from. Notably, her arms and bottom half of the legs resemble sleeves and boots respectively. Her face has marble like eyes, with the eyelashes also serving as eyebrows. She also has pointy ears that has a wing-like shape. Additionally, her hair is a lighter blue than the rest of the body and both the front and back both seem to swirl to the side. However, Azuri also has a detachable hair accessory that acts as a faux ponytail. A spare hair accessory also exists in case she wishes to wear twin-tails. A tail can also be seen behind her in “A Source of Comfort.” Her appearance as a whole resembles Lassuli, a character from Justice's childhood.

In her regular attire, Azuri sports a sleeveless dress (possibly based on a Qipao) that resembles a Kno’mian dress shown in our first glance of the species. The bottom of the dress depicts a unique pattern. In her casual attire, Azuri appears to wear what is a combination of a dress and a jacket. Depicted wearing in both outfits is a necklace containing a Plutonian Core, a half-sphere coloured by several blues as well as some black. Supposedly, it is full of Spirit.

In “A Creation of Acceptance,” Cyana name-drops Lady Poseidon/Suimi and mentions building upon the “depicted Lassuli concept” from the original schematics.

Personality

Azuri is characterized as being sweet yet somewhat naive in nature, contrasted with her sizable intellect. Her character sheet also implies she struggles with processing sarcasm. As shown with her interaction with a Cybot, Azuri can get quite giddy to the point of speaking quickly and without reprieve. She is also shown stimming quite excitedly in that same piece. Despite her more innocent seeming nature, she's capable of expressing other emotions and can get serious as shown at her true power.

Abilities & Weapons

Azuri stands as perhaps the strongest non-spirit/deity character currently around in the setting as both her intelligence and self-defence/combat skills are said to be unmatched by any mortal. She can both fire lasers and use some form of energy propulsion to fly. When using her true power, the lasers become stronger and can vaporize an Outer Realm beast. Notably, her body glows with the core glowing about as bright as her hands. Additionally her eyes resemble that of a spirit form, and a pair of bunny ears made of energy forms.
